Viennese Modernism: Josef Hoffmann Suite
Filled with natural light, Suite L’s appeal is found in the way it maintains a balance of old and new, colour and monochrome, playfulness and restraint.
In addition to contemporary furnishings created by Spanish star designer Jaime Hayon – who took his inspiration from Josef Hoffmann – the composition also features original pieces created between 1910 and 1930. Josef Hoffmann recreations from Wittmann compete the range of furnishing for seating and reclining in this generously proportioned suite.
All of the rooms at the Altstadt Vienna are inspired by individual aspects that, taken together, constitute the quintessentially Viennese. The three new suites – completed under the creative directorship of Roland Nemetz and planB Architektur – expand on this theme, which now extends to a total of 61 rooms.
You can find all Wittmann collections at AVAX stores.
