WITTMANN @ Hotel WSHS Gouda, NL

From a tranquil monument to a luxury boutique hotel of international allure, Hotel WSHS Gouda in Netherlands undergoes a complete metamorphosis with a unique combination of charm and chic.

The building, built in the Middle Ages as an orphanage and most recently served as the city library for Gouda, has now been skillfully renovated. 

Judith van Mourik is not afraid of opulence: "When I started designing the entire concept and the various restaurants and suites of WSHS Gouda, I quickly discovered that it was a perfect canvas. This place is so rich in identity, history, and characteristic details," says the Dutch interior designer, describing the beginning of her work for the hotel and restaurant project, which aims to bring new glory to the prominent building that has dominated Gouda's cityscape for centuries.

Vuelta FD chairs by Jaime Hayon for Wittmann are the matching counterpart to the fabric pattern of the sofas inspired by the typical Gouds Plateel ceramics. As well as, as Vuelat 72 is matched perfectly in the rooms.
