The spectacular scenery of the Dolomites and the Alta Val Badia formed the backdrop, from 17th to 20th January 2016, to CARE’s - the ethical chef days – Prominent figures in international restauranteering, including Norbert Niederkofler, Claudio Sadler, Filippo La Mantia and Giancarlo Morelli, to mention just a few, with highly qualified wine makers and experts from the food industry gathered to discuss and share a common ethical and responsible approach to the food and wine culture.
Participants contributed their own personal testimony of the food and wine world in terms of the ethical exploitation and enhancement of local areas. Dada’s Banco kitchen, along with Gio Ponti re-makes in chairs and tables, as well as the LessLess tables designed by Jean Nouvel and Hannes Wettstein’s Alfa chairs for Molteni, alternated in the setting of the event.
CARE’s mission is to heighten awareness of Nature and its produce, to promote best practices as regards the land, local products and seasonality, but also responsible consumption, material recycling and reusing food waste.
